Monella Gelato

30 December 2015

For all the locals and lovers of the iconic Darby Street, you'll be pleased to know there's a new kid on the block. Joining the multitude of other delicious food places, Monella stands apart from the crowd. Not only in its wares, but with it's fresh style that is unlike any other in Newcastle.

The unique shop front is sadly hidden behind a tree and an ugly traffic light. But look past it and you'll spot a beautiful white two storey building, covered with a kaleidoscope of black butterflies. Which officially makes it the coolest looking building in perhaps the entirety of Newcastle.

Three Christmases

27 December 2015

I tend to find Christmas more stressful than enjoyable. Which is strongly related to the fact that I have to share myself around 3 separate Christmases at 3 different locations, all in the one day.

It's not that I don't want to see everyone, I just find it difficult to manage, and I try to spend a good amount of time at each place. This year went pretty smoothly and was relatively stress free.
Here's a look at my three Christmases.

The Sound of Music in Sydney!

23 December 2015

Last weekend, the good folks of Nuffnang Australia put out the call for wonderful local bloggers that would like to attend and review the musical stage show that has just hit Sydney. The Sound of Music, everyone's favourite German singing movie. This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the beloved film which first captivated audiences in 1965. I of course jumped at this amazing opportunity, as did the likes of a few other local bloggers.

Following it's record-breaking run at the London Palladium, the world’s best-loved musical, The Sound of Music is now playing in Sydney at the Capitol Theatre and coming soon to Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide!

Brought to you by Nuffnang & The Sound of Music Tour

Swedish Gingerbread Recipe - Pepparkakor

21 December 2015

Even though there's no real reason for not baking gingerbread all year round, I still keep it for Christmas time. I think that's what makes it more special. Like saving gingerbread, eggnog and Love Actually, right until December. So you get the full and good experience.

You can make this gingerbread quite thin, so that it cooks hard and crunchy, more like the traditional Gingerbread, or you can have each cookie a bit thicker so that you have a softer cookie.
Both are delicious, and the option is yours.

My Boyfriend Doesn't Read My Blog

15 December 2015

My boyfriend doesn't read my blog, but it's not a big deal. A whole bunch of other people do. So that's pretty rad. That card above is what he picked out and gave me for our 4 year anniversary. I loved it! It is adorable and perfect for me. It combines my love of Josh annd my love of kittens!

We've been together four whole years now and that is kind of crazy. That's a long time, like 17% of my entire life. I've already written a post last year about how we met, which was pretty cute. If I say so myself.

Oh Christmas Tree

10 December 2015

This year is my first Christmas living out of home and I was so excited to finally get a chance to buy and decorate my very own tree with Josh. We're hoping to start a few cute Christmas conditions that we can stick to every year. For starters, decorating the tree together.

I picked out our tree from Big W. The Soho Christmas Tree. 195cm tall, realistic looking pine leaves scattered throughout, and pretty golden lights already threaded through the tree, so no need to add our own Christmas lights.

Muesli & Banana Muffins

7 December 2015

Recently I had bought a bunch of bananas to have with my yoghurt and muesli breakfast, but I hadn't been able to eat all of the bananas before they went very ripe. Which was the perfect excuse to bake those yummy bananas into something even more delicious!

I worked this up from a simple muffin recipe, and I also added in some muesli. Mine had oats, almonds and sultanas in it, which added some extra flavour too.

Abicus Haul

4 December 2015

Pros & Cons of living near awesome boutiques. You spend all your money on cool stuff. Nuff' Said.
I bought all of these cool things at Abicus on Darby Street, except for the spotty top which is from Scout by Abicus. The little sister store of Abicus, which is right across the street.

I had to special order in the shoes as the one size 37 sold out almost immediately, of course! So glad I ordered them in though! No regrets with any of these purchases.
Quality over quantity my friends. You've gotta spend a little more to get key pieces that will last.

How to Survive Parties: A Guide for the Socially Anxious

1 December 2015

If you suffer from social anxiety, the thought of attending a party can be a nightmare scenario. So many people and you probably only know a small percentage of them. All talking louder and louder until they're shouting just to be heard and seen over the other people around them. It can be incredibly daunting, even if you usually can handle these situations.

Social anxiety can be overwhelming at times, but supplements have been proven to help with that. It doesn't need to be stressful acquiring them either, as you can easily order them online at places like goldbee.com

I've paired up with costume company "Disguises" to put together a guide on how to attend those events you just can't miss.

My Daily Bling

29 November 2015

I get complimented a lot on my earrings and rings and general jewellery and accessories, and I don't even mix them up day to day. I'm the kind of girl who gets good quality pieces that are versatile and go with everything. So there's no need to swap them with different outfits, they just always look good.

I managed to pick up a few more pieces while I was in Sydney as well. I'm a silver gal, specifically sterling silver. I often find that jewellery made with sterling silver is not that much more expensive than if it's silver plated, but it outlives it with no comparison. All of my jewellery is sterling silver. I no longer even bother with silver plated. What a waste of money.

The End of an Error - How I Got My Domain Back

28 November 2015

Did it ever feel like this day would come?? It didn't for me, especially after my last crazed blog post how they wanted to sell my domain back to me for thousands of dollars. As well as charging me for actually contacting the person.

I was finally sick of everyone's shit and after going to the hideous page that appeared when you clicked on www.permanentprocrastination.com I clicked their ugly button of "BUY THIS DOMAIN".

But it wasn't a simple add to cart, it was a message system where you had to make an offer and talk to the seller. I typed $150 into the offer box, and it said dun dun, this offer is too low, domains on here often go for thousands of dollars!

While I know that that is a thing, it is certainly not a thing that includes my blog domain name. So I sent them a quick message.

Hi there, i would like to buy back my domain name. There is no way it is worth thousands of dollars, it is literally worthless to anyone but me as I have the corresponding blog name. If you are willing to offer it at a realistic price, let me know.

Domain Nightmares - Part 2

24 November 2015

ARGH! Just when I thought I had hit the epitome of stupid. Apparently I had not. I had only just hit the surface. If you are completely unaware what I'm talking about, I deleted my domain because I was apparently completely unaware about SO MANY THINGS. Like transferring domains, and redemption periods and their fees.

To give you a base run down, after I ever so stupidly deleted my domain. Crazy Domains has a redemption fee of $140 to restore the domain. I ranted and raved, then decided to pay the fee. You have to fill out a physical form with all the details and then photocopy and email it through.

I received confirmation that they received it, but no one did anything! It was suppose to take a minimum of 10 working days after they start processing the payment, and nothing was happening. They claimed they didn't receive the email, I sent them the order number that said they did, then oh yes they did receive it after all. Few more days, still no progress, no money taken.

Fuck it! I backorder the domain permanentprocrastination.com on another domain server, so that it would grab it when it came available. I can't really afford to spend $140 AUD on my domain, just because I'm an idiot. So I contacted the domain server and said whatever don't take the money, just leave it. Screw you guys basically.

Just Six Minutes

19 November 2015

I don't get fired up about much stuff. I can probably count on one maybe two hands, topics that I am passionate enough about to actually argue with someone about. Because I am incredibly chill. You know those people who seriously just want to have a heated discussion about everything, they are just waiting for you to disagree?? Not me. If it's not important, I'll just nod along. I couldn't care less.

Animals are right up the top of the short list of things I will passionately argue about. People that laugh or are indifferent to animal abuse. Oh they make my blood boil. I'm not a confrontational person at all. I will avoid confrontation endlessly. But don't you dare leave your dog in the car.

Chilling in a Blanket Fort with Giant Uni

18 November 2015

How fun are blanket forts! I wrote a guide for Smoko Inc on how to build a great one! Including all the supplies you will need and how super easy it is. I put mine together in about half an hour. But the more time and effort you put into your blanket fort, the better it will be!

Beauty Haul - Sydney Trip

15 November 2015

I promised to spill the deets on my Sydney trip purchases, and here's part one. My beauty product buys. The majority of what I bought was from Sephora but I also had my first visit to Lush which did not disappoint! There will be many more visits in the future.

So here are 5 beauty products that I bought during my shopping trip to Sydney, with a quick mini review on each one.

Blogging 101 - Font Style & Size

11 November 2015

Ages ago I sort of covered font styles and sizes in my Blogging 101 post, Template Design Basics. But that was more related to not having terrible font on a ridiculous background so that people can actually read what you are trying to say to them.

If you are a regular reader, more so on desktop than on your phone as the changes wouldn't have been as obvious. My blog's main body font style and size has changed and there are some pretty good reasons for that.

Life Lately 8/11 + Sydney Trip

8 November 2015

Hooray! Last week was both Josh and my birthday weeks, and as we were both super excited. We took some annual leave from our jobs and went on a mini vacation to Sydney! Warning this post is filled with waay too many photos of outfits I wore over the past two weeks, all thrown at you at once.

I'm keen to show you all a bunch of things that I got on my Sydney trip but not yet! That will be a separate post. For now I'm just super keen to get back into the swing of blogging after neglecting it, partly due to being disheartened about my domain name and partly because I have been playing Assassin's Creed Syndicates! It's great btw!

Social Media is a Lie

4 November 2015

The topic of the moment seems to be Essena, the 18 year old, internet famous girl from Brisbane, Australia. If you haven't watched it, Essena filmed a long emotional video about how she was quitting social media as it's all fake, it's a charade and it's taken over her life. While only making her miserable.

The video was pretty confronting, and as someone who is trying to break into the online world of blogging and social media, it made me sit back and think for a good while.
But the more I thought about points that she mentioned, the more I realised whether I agreed or disagreed with certain parts.

I had never heard of, or seen Essena on social media before. Obviously there are a lot of people online to come across, and many people can be instafamous without you having see them. Essena is said to have had 500k+ followers on instagram (before she deleted) and was being paid to advertise products through her photos, as well as scoring a modelling contract through her popularity.

Firstly from what I can gather, Essena got into instagram and general social media outlets as she had incredibly low self esteem. She didn't value or love herself, and she didn't have much confidence in her appearance or general life. She speaks about being only 12 years old and comparing herself to online celebrities, and truly believing that one day, if she were to be famous and well known on social media. Then she would be happy, be loved and truly value herself.

I don't participate in social media and instagram in order to validate myself and my self worth. It's not why I started and it's not where I'm heading. I enjoy taking photos on my iPhone and editing them with various apps like Afterlight and VSCO Cam. I enjoy when I get a pretty shot and can upload it.

At the same time though, "Comparison is the thief of all joy." And Instagram is one of the most comparative social media outlets that there is. Even as I like taking photos and uploading them, there's no denying that I feel like my images aren't as good as other peoples, and perhaps I'm not as good as them either. That my outfits will never be trendy enough, my hair and makeup will never be perfect, and neither will my body.

Essena speaks about becoming obsessed with taking the perfect photo. Spending hours taking hundreds of shots for a single upload. While I can see that this is unhealthy and obsessive behaviour generally. If you're a big enough social media personality, then those hours used and those shots are all a part of the job, the business. You're spending that time styling the products given to you, and designing the perfect shot that you are likely getting paid to do. It's called a day job. Sometimes working a lot can get you down.

Essena sounded like in the end she could no longer distinguish taking photos for work, from taking photos of her everyday "life". Every single photo ended up being faked and posed. So that when she looked through her insta feed, she saw the perfect life but realised she wasn't living it.

A lot of famous social media personalities are commenting their own opinions on the topic that are interesting  to read. Most claiming that Essena seemed deeply unhappy before social media as well. Which is definitely seems that way after watching her video.

Overall isn't it depressing to think your favourite and seemingly happy bloggers, instagrammers and youtubes are actually super unhappy? I certainly hope they're all alright.

Have you watched? What do you think? Do you think it was all just a publicity stunt?

Currently - October

31 October 2015

I have been so slack with blogging lately! Trying to maintain an even spread of work, free time and blogging, it's a bit of a daily challenge. Plus I got Assassin's Creed Syndicate as an early birthday gift, so I've been playing that too.  I was also incredibly disheartened after deleting my domain like an idiot. I decided to not spend the $140 either, so I've backordered my domain to hopefully grab when it is released back into the wild.

October has been a pretty good month for me though. The weather is looking up, I've worked a lot but I've also had a good handful of free time, which is important. It's also my birthday in a few days! Which I have a cute wishlist post for, and I'm going to chill in Sydney for 4 days. Which I've now seen the weather forecast is rain the entire time. Which will put a literal dampener on our plans to walk pretty much everywhere. Looks like I'll be taking an umbrella.

Anyway, I love how Bash from 'Hey Bash' does her 'Currently' style of post. So I've borrowed it!

Doing

I've been playing Assassin's Creed basically every day and neglecting other areas of my life. I usually am so keen on finishing it, that I wake up one day and realise I've been wasting my life and I stop playing it. But I really want to finish it this time! Apart from that, this weekend I've got Josh's Nan's 90th birthday lunch which is today, and tomorrow I have a christening for my cousin's beautiful twin girls! Then Sunday night I have my lovely friend Chezarne's 21st! It's going to be a busy weekend. That's why I'm taking a moment right now to chill out.

Watching

What aren't I watching?? Supergirl just started and it's amazing! Seriously loving it so far even though it's only been one episode. Arrow this season is just awesome as well. I'm always a big fan of iZombie, and Scream Queens is a must for this Halloween! I haven't actually been to the cinema in a little while, so I'll have to head back soon and see something new!

Listening

Is anyone not listening to Adele's new song? It's amazing. Welcome back Adele. Gwen Stefani also has a new song out, called 'Used to Love You' which is funny because I used to looove Gwen Stefani. I still do ish, i'm just not obsessively singing WHAT YOU WAITING FOR?? At the top of my lungs. I also got onto Troye Sivan and my favourite song by him currently is Bite. Worth the listen!

Loving

I went and got a spray tan yesterday, because it's Spring time, and I'm going to Sydney soon to shop and when I try on outfits, no lie, everything looks better on me when I have a tan. Plus I just feel like 110% better about myself. I tried out this tanning place on a street next to mine, so I could walk there and back. It's the first time I've gone since moving into the city. But seriously I look fab. The tan I got was called Moroccan Tan, and it's full of great ingredients like Argan Oil, Aloe Vera and Rosehip. So my skin feels amazing!

Making

I've been putting together a birthday wishlist post, of cool things I'm loving right now. There will be lots of jewellery and monochrome items, I'm telling you now. I've also been making a general mess of my house, I cleared out all of the old things from my wardrobe and I'm still not too sure what I'm going to do with all of them, so they're currently looking messy sitting in the guest room...

Planning

All of the fun things we are going to do when Josh & I go to Sydney on Tuesday! Shopping, dinners, coffees, museums, the botanical gardens, maybe IMAX, maybe even go to a stageshow! Clearly I haven't done thaat much planning, but I have a lot of ideas! That's the first step anyway!

Overall, October has been pretty chill and rad. Bring on November!

Halloween Swap Box with Rosie Rockets

29 October 2015

I love participating in anything blog related, and Bloggers United put out a call for Aussie bloggers to be a part of a Halloween Box Swap. You fill out a little form and then they pair you up with another blogger and you send each other a box of Halloween goodies.

I got paired with the lovely Rosie from "A Red Lip & a Nude Shoe". An awesome beauty/fashion blogger from Melbourne. We decided on a budget for our Halloween box, as well as a general outline of what it should include. Something beauty related, chocolate and halloween goodies of course!

Domain Privacy - I Know Where You Live

27 October 2015

Whenever I find out something interesting, useful or informative related to blogging, I like to write a post about it and put it in my "Blogging 101" category. Because I figure, if I don't know about this then a lot of other people might not know this either.

This one came up recently during my major error of judgement when I deleted my domain name. When I was trying to work out what was going on with my domain, I was directed to a place where I could type in my url and it would give me details on how long it would be until my domain expired, and was released into the wild.

So I went along to this website called Whois. Typed in my domain name, and low and behold there was my (old) home address, full name and phone number. Out there for the world to see, and find.

Obviously I have been wary of late about too many of my details getting out there after that incident with the super creepy guy. And here is all my freaking details. So readily available.

I was mortified! Domain Privacy is an option when signing up for a domain, but at the time I was just thinking, oh yeah, just another added cost for whatever.

I had no idea what I was doing!

Do You Need Domain Privacy?

I searched the domains of 10 bloggers that I follow, and here are the results.

  • REMOVED FOR PRIVACY REASONS (no duh)

I'm sorry to freak you ladies out right now. But 7 out of 10 blogs I just checked, have all their details out there. Which i'm sure is news to you.

What Can You Do?

Domain Privacy is an option available on all Domain Registries. It should only cost you about $9.95 a year to have. Which I can now stress is totally worth it. As all your details are out there. Even if you change your details to something more anonymous, all your previous changes show up as well.

There you go. This has been a Public Service Announcement for all my blogger babes out there.

Stay safe!

Minimalist / Monochrome Wardrobe Makeover - Inspiration

24 October 2015

[source]
If you're a follower I'm sure you would have seen that recently I won some money through a blogging competition, and my plan for said money was to go on a shopping spree on my birthday at a big mall in Sydney. A well thought out and not crazy shopping spree. But a spree none the less.

I've decided that I wanted to give my wardrobe a makeover and start shopping smarter. More quality over quantity and less purchases on things I'm not 100% in love with and will never wear.

Parks and Recreation Halloween Costumes - Ladies

21 October 2015

This show may have ended but the characters will live on in all of their amazing greatness, for years to come. I've put together a few ideas on how you can dress as your favourite Pawnee Resident. Here are the ladies. Look out for Part 2, coming soon.

All costumes include the iconic "Knope 2012" button! Vote Knope!

Don't Delete Your Domain - My $140 Mistake

19 October 2015

I'm an idiot. This is a blog post warning you to never ever do what I have done. Because it was and is a nightmare. One that I haven't even fixed yet.

Last week I saw that my .com domain with Crazy Domains was expiring on the 14th. Good. I was sick of them and I didn't want my blog to be with Crazy Domains anymore.

My domain expired, and unfortunately, instead of a giant hand reaching through the computer and stopping me, I deleted the domain.

If I could redo High School...

16 October 2015

We all have things that when we think back to them, we wish we could have done things a little differently. Whether it was something minor like dressing another way or major such a decision you have made that may have affected other things.

If I went back in time and had a do-over of high school I know there would be a few things that I would do differently.

Winner Winner

15 October 2015

If you haven't seen me excitedly thanking everyone via facebook yet. It's time for the big reveal. I WON! I won this sweet competition that was being run by Heritage Bank in Brisbane.

I wrote this post as my entrant for the competition. I entered the post in the finance category and with the help of all my wonderful friends, coworkers and family. As well as my favourite followers! I was able to score the most votes in my category!

My prize was, wait for it, $2,000! What! I know right!

Josh and my birthday is coming up soon at the beginning of November, and we are going to stay in a hotel in Sydney for 3 nights, and do activities as well as go shopping to celebrate!

I'm also going to add another $1,000 between now and then so that we can have the best shopping day ever! I'm hoping to give my wardrobe a proper makeover! Ahh! *explodes from excitement*

I'm so excited, and I'll definitely be posting more about Sydney, before/during/after we go!

Thank you so so much for voting for me in the Blog Awards!

A Quick Review: The Martian

14 October 2015

There's a pretty cool story behind the movie "The Martian". Well behind the story that would become a film. Writer Andy Weir wrote 'The Martian' as free story on his own personal blog. People were loving it so much, they asked if it could be downloadable so that they could read it on their Kindle.

To add it to Amazon so people could download it, he had to set a price so Weir set it for $0.99.
The book took off, became a hit, and here we are today. Writing a movie review for it.

Coming into the movie I think I had a certain idea in mind, just based on the space movies I've watched in the past few years. Gravity & Interstellar come to mind. Both of them great films but it is an error of judgement to lump The Martian with them simply because they all involve space travel.

In The Martian, Astronaut Mark Watney gets abandoned on Mars after they believe he has died whilst all trying to escape from a large incoming storm. Spoiler alert (jokes) he's alive. (obviously)

Mark Watney has to figure out how to survive with the supplies that are leftover, until he can hopefully contact NASA and they can come and rescue him.

This film has such an all star cast, and they all do a wonderful job. I loved Donald Glover's albeit small role, especially where he fell over in the first take and they decided to keep it in. Kristen Wiig proves she can be spectacularly serious, Sean Bean avoids death, and Sebastian Stan longs for Steve Rogers. (probably)

Matt Damon makes for an amazing lead, and I'm not sure if anyone else could have done such a good job with the character. Positive, self-depreciating, charming.

This movie has thrilling moments, where you're on the edge of your seat. The moments that make you laugh out loud, and others where you feel so hopeful and elated.
These are quick reviews for a reason, no spoilers here.

One of the best space movies I've seen in awhile.

PS. People, it's not based on a true story.. they go to Mars!

Have you seen The Martian? What did you think?

What's on my Phone? (ft. iPhone 6s)

12 October 2015

So on the 12th of September, the iPhone 6s was available to preorder. My 2 year contract with Optus was about to run out, and I needed to switch sim providers. As I have basically no reception in my house. And as we don't have a home phone, me being able to receive and make calls from my mobile in my own home is pretty important.

To buy the new iPhone 6s, in Rose Gold 64GB on a plan with Telstra, it was going to cost me $100 per month. Which is quite a bit to be putting aside each week. Seeing as I'm great at saving my money, I had enough to buy the phone outright. Which meant I could go onto the BYO plan for $50 a month. So that's where I'm at now. I just sold my iPhone 5s last week too, so that's some extra cash for me.

Natural Instinct Skincare Review

9 October 2015

My skin has been terrible this season. Well mostly the previous seasons. Autumn & Winter. I'm not sure what it is but my face and skin just hates the cold and I break out and my skin peels away as well. It's a terrible combination and I hate it.

I was only just thinking that I need a new range of skincare products, when I absent mindedly entered a giveaway on Julie's blog, to win a whole pack of skincare items. Having forgotten I'd even entered I was super surprised to receive an email telling me I had won a pack of Natural Instinct Skincare products! The goodies arrived 2 days later and I have been testing them out ever since.

Life Lately 7/10

My last life lately post was on the 9th of September! Almost an entire month ago! So I'm sure there's a lot to fill you in on what's been happening. But I'll skip to the good stuff.

Meet My October Advertiser

5 October 2015

Earth to Kace
Only one little ole advertiser for October, so Kace get's all the glory! Kace is a super cute blogger from Texas who is currently doing Blogtober over on her blog, with some awesome Halloween posts just on the horizon.

Hello, I'm Kaci, a twenty year old college student from Texas, USA. Writing, photography, and traveling are my three main passions. While I'm not studying or writing for my university's newspaper, I'm blogging. My blog mainly consists of lifestyle posts. Although that topic is broad, I tend to narrow it down to travel posts, reviews of my favorite products, DIYs, and my everyday thoughts.

I started blogging because I was always fascinated with expressing myself in different ways. I thought it was extremely interesting to be able to do something I love and have people from all over the world get a look inside my brain. So here I am, almost a year later, loving every moment of it!

Waking up with Di Bella Coffee

4 October 2015

I had actually never had plunger coffee before, and even had to google how to actually use a coffee plunger! Is that crazy? I don't know how common they actually are. I guess because my parents were tea drinkers.

When I got asked by Di Bella Coffee to choose a coffee blend to try, it took me a little while to settle on a coffee that sounded just right. Something perfect for me. I love sweet drinks, and I probably put way too much sugar for anyone who has more of a refined coffee palate.

After reading about each individual Di Bella Coffee, I was finally sold on the Premium blend with the words, "hazelnut", "caramel" & "butterscotch". These the flavours for me thanks.

How Much to Charge Per Sponsored Post?

29 September 2015

I recently put up an anonymous survey that aimed to collect and collate data relating to sponsored posts and the rates that fellow bloggers charge.

I've written out and displayed all my findings in a way that I think is reasonably easy to understand.
Best of all at the end of the post, there's a section on how the pageviews and sponsored post rates correlate according to what the majority of bloggers are doing! Finally some information I can really work with.
Click on through to see the results, and if you would like to participate in providing more data for the survey, you will find a link to it at the very bottom.

My Spring Bucket List

23 September 2015

So I'll assume a few of you have read my last bucket list, for Winter. In terms of a blog post, it was a huge success. In terms of a solo bucket list, I did very few things on there.

But that's okay! It's way more of a list for everyone than just list for me to complete. Saying that, I would love to give a bunch of these a go.

Yes this is a SPRING Bucket list! I can see a lot of you now, looking around, shaking your heads in confusion. I live in the Southern Hemisphere, in Australia. So our seasons are reversed.
What a phenomenon.

It tends to be almost impossible to find a seasonal bucket list that is for my hemisphere! Spring bucket lists tend to be filled with Easter Activities, when it's actually September - November over here.

So please enjoy! And if it's Autumn where you are, pin it for later reference!

I've been coveting quite a few things this September, especially as the weather has just started to warm up! I actually get a lot of compliments on my earrings, which is lovely also surprising. Here's another pair on my wishlist. I love quality styles that I can just put in and forget.

I am seriously digging lazy oaf, but I have no idea of any stockists around here! I really want to try some stuff on before I lay out the big bucks. But I'm so keen on that dress and those jeans!

I tried on that black Finders Keepers playsuit, and it was gorgeous, look at the sleeves! I need a good go to outfit for Spring nights out.

Even though I just got a watch from The Horse, that I love so so much. This is very cool. The marble makes it a super cliche blogger watch. You know I'm right.

If you're unsure about Lana's new album, give it a few listen throughs. I promise you'll be hooked. I know I am. This black lace bralette is perfect for underneath a sheer black shirt that I have. Also when you can see a bit of the bra. Make it a pretty one.

All of my clutches are black. Also I may only have one clutch now. But this grey one is stylish, big enough to hold all the essentials, and the light grey will go with almost everything.
Lastly the iPhone 6s in Rose Gold. Well I've already bought this so it will be arriving shortly. I can't wait.

Moon of My Life... My Sun & Stars

18 September 2015

Spring is here and I am loving the chance to wear flowy dresses and sandals. Not a million layers, jackets, socks and boots. It's a welcome change. Motel Rocks have a style of dress called the "Tiara Babydoll Dress" that comes in a bunch of gorgeous different patterns. I have both this one and one in a sunflower print. The fit of the dress is a bit of a mix between a shift and a skater dress.

The dress is incredibly loose fitting and perfect for those hot days where you're just ugh, no one touch me. Because those days are definitely on the horizon.

WHAT I'M WEARING
Dress: Motel Rocks | Shoes: Soles | Bag: Status Anxiety | Sunglasses: Quay Eyewear* | Watch: The Horse

As you can see I'm still getting the hang of this outfit post thing. At least Josh has been patient and willing to follow me around the park taking my photo. I seriously want a few more of this style of dress though.

Hopefully I can continue to post regularly. I have been really tired lately working non stop with both jobs. I'm just trying to work both jobs, and still find time for myself, to relax and to blog. Because I do enjoy blogging and I don't find it stressful. Well I only find it stressful when I don't have time to blog!

I hope you've had a great week!
