What to Know Before You Cruise

27 Feb 2016

I have been on about 4 cruises now I believe, and I still really wasn't prepared for the one I just went on. Most likely because I was young on all the other voyages, so I really didn't need to pay attention to anything except having fun.

I had to do a bit of research before I cruised, but still hadn't found out everything that I could have. So here you have it, your go to guide for before you cruise. This one will be a tad more relevant towards cruises by Royal Caribbean, but I'm sure a lot of things are universal.

What to Pack for a Cruise

9 Feb 2016

I'm leaving for a cruise today, (Tuesday 9th Feb!) I'm super super excited! All my packing is done, and there was soo much packing to be done. I'm going on a Summer cruise through the Pacific Islands so I needed a variety of outfits to take with me and wear during the cruise. Whether I was on board or off on an island.

I've picked some of my favourites from online stores that fall into the most important clothing categories for when you're packing for a cruise!

StayLean Tea Review

5 Feb 2016

I wanted to start off this post immediately by saying that I do not endorse any "teatox" type tea that contains a laxative. I received this package of StayLean Tea to trial and truthfully review, and I'm only willing to do so as StayLean Tea is 100% natural with no Laxatives. Teatoxes with laxatives are incredibly unhealthy and I do not recommend drinking them at all.

The entire premise of StayLean Tea is that it is a mixture of natural herbal teas that each have different properties. The main tea leaf is the Longjing green leaf. This rare leaf is loaded with antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins and catechins. When these blends are combined they work together to stimulate fat loss while replenishing your body with nutrients.

I received a 14 Day Tea pack from StayLean, and tried it out, so here is how it went!

The Hateful Eight at Event Cinemas Gold Class

The Hateful Eight - Gold Class Kotara

I've been to a fair few Gold Class movie sessions in my life. They're expensive and luxurious. A bit of a treat. Definitely not something you'd do all the time. Unless you're well off and that's just your thing. I've found that each different cinema does Gold Class a little differently. For a long time the closest Gold Class cinema was in Sydney, and I had gone once or twice with my family while we were down there.

Finally Reading Cinemas Charlestown opened and with it a Gold Class cinema. But in all my trials and travels, I'd found that no one really did Gold Class like Event Cinemas did.
So when Westfield Kotara unveiled their new cinemas as part of their new Rooftop Dining venture, I was keen to try it out.
