A road trip along The Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road is one of Australia’s most memorable and iconic scenic roads to travel down. But it is so much more than just a road, it can be a real experience. There is a lot to see and do here, especially taking in the spectacular twelve apostles. One way to do it is by air, but you get to see a great deal from the roadside. Enjoy the amazing surfing spots, or leisurely enjoy the drive and stop off for some decent food and drink. You won't be disappointed by adding this to your bucket list.

An adventure in Western Australia

Why not explore Western Australia a little more. Often people just associate the west with Perth, but there is more to this region than meets the eye. One of the great adventures you can do is to explore the Gibb River road and enjoy the scenery it has to offer. Or just take in some of the smaller towns like Broome. There is a lot to see in do in the west, so don’t miss it off your Australian bucket list.

Experience the sunset over Uluru

One of the most picturesque areas of Australia is Uluru. It is known as the sacred mountain of the aboriginals who have decorated it with carvings and paintings. Uluru is a protected landmark so make sure you don't try and climb it but its still a wonderful place to visit and see. Watching the sunset or rise over Uluru is absolutely breathtaking and is another thing to add to your list

Cage diving with great white sharks

If you find yourself to be a bit of an adrenaline junkie then why not dive with one of the deadliest creatures on earth. Cage diving with great white sharks can be a thrilling adventure. One of the best places to do this is in Port Lincoln in Southern Australia. It can offer you one heck of an adventure, but this can be a popular attraction, so book in advance.

Forget the Northern Lights, view the Aurora Australis

Finally, the Northern Lights is one of the most well-known things to do, but that doesn’t mean to say that Australia can’t offer you just as breathtaking light show as that. The southern lights are elusive and quite rare to be seen, it is always worth it to time a visit to Tasmania in line with when the southern lights could appear. September seems to be the best time to try.

I hope this has inspired you to consider other experiences in Australia!
