My Winter Bucket List

June 1st means Winter has officially started in Australia, and around here that means cold enough to complain about, nowhere near cold enough to see actual snow.

We are somehow all conditioned to picture Christmas with snow, even down under, even though Santa's sleigh would honestly make more sense being pulled by a couple of confused kangaroos than reindeer. Never mind.

Real snow does exist within driving distance, a few hours away if I ever organised myself enough to go, but I won't be making that trip this Winter. So what actually goes on an Aussie Winter bucket list?

Rugged up outside on a cold Australian Winter day

This is not a naughty summer bucket list full of beaches and bikinis, it's the plainer Winter version, a few cold weather things I'm hoping to actually get up to before the season's over.

I reckon I can get through most of these before Winter's done, if not all of them.

If it's getting cold where you live, what is on your bucket list this Winter? If not, what's one of your favourite Winter activities when it is cold?
