April Round Up

8 May 2016

I'm full of excuses to where I've been and it's all because of this wonderful PS4 game called The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt. I'm working 9-5, countless days in a row. I get home and I want to veg out so I've been playing the game. The storyline in this is hectic, unlike anything I've ever seen before. With as much random shit to do as Skyrim, (one of my all time favs) except you play the main character Geralt of Rivia. Who you fall in love with as you play. Well I did anyway.

Anyway that's 100% where I've been, and I assume that will continue until I finish the game... It's a very long game I'm sorry. My PSN name is "Teegly" if you want to friend me though!

Now April.. what did I do in April.

Outfits Worn

Ha doesn't that last outfit piss you off how it's not following the same style as the others! WHY?? I'm not sure but I don't have a proper photo from that day so here you go. Obviously you already know I love the monochrome, there's a crazy pop of maroon in there, wowza. I have a few new jackets on layby that will be sure to appear in some coming insta photos as well! They're lovely. Though the weather outside has still been beautiful!

Films Watched

These are the only ones I can remember watching anyway. I saw these all at the cinema and all were pretty good. I'm a bit of a fangirl for Marvel films though. So I liked it the best of course. I wasn't that keen on seeing The Huntsman but it wasn't too bad. Fine to watch, but nothing special.

The Jungle Book was beautiful! I loved recognising all the voices of each character. Scarlet Johansson as Kaa the snake was amazing, even if her part was very small. There's a little bit of singing but I wish there was more! Not that there needed to be I just really love Disney songs.

Plants Adopted

As always I try to restrain myself, and like usual I fail. I think I only bought three plants this month heh. I got myself the best bargain with a Fiddle Leaf Fig from Bunnings. Which I'm going to try soo hard to keep alive. It had a bug but I've been spraying it and it seems okay. It was the same price as all of the other ones but 3x as big! I could not say no!

Bunnings also brought out these terracotta hearts filled with different succulents for Mother's Day. Very cute and I just know it will look beautiful when it's overflowing with growth. Lastly I was buying my mum a bouquet of flowers for her Birthday on the 29th of April, and I stopped by Blooms on Darby and found this super cute little baby succulent. Very cute and has a nice white pot too. Fits perfectly alongside my other mini plants next to the tv.

Notable Moments

I'm going to 100% count it as a notable moment when a cute little kitty appeared in my back courtyard. I walked down the stairs, Josh is sitting on the couch with his back to the window. I squeal "A cat! It's in our courtyard!" I was very excited and I went outside and petted it and talked to the kitty and meowed back at me a lot. It was an experience. Blessed by kitty visits.

Birthday Lunch with my Mum which was filled with so much laughter as we put snapchat filters over my Grandparents, Uncle & Aunt. It was really nice to have such a stress free family gathering, which I don't think happens very often.

I got to write a guest piece for a local Art & Culture Zine! I won't say too much about it here though as there'll be a post coming up on it shortly!

What's in Store for May?

Me working. A lot. That's not anything new. I'm doing a lot between both jobs. I have a small amount of days off in total. Also I am going to try and blog more but hey in the little spare time that I have I've been playing The Witcher. Which I'm almost finished but I'm going to buy the extra content ha. It's great don't judge me.

Lovedale Long Lunch is also coming up next weekend, and I've been trying to find the perfect outfit for it. If you've never heard of Lovedale before it's like a festival for grown ups that involves hopping between different wineries, drinking lots of wine, eating, listening to live music and generally having a good time. So I'm pretty keen. Hopefully it's a beautiful day weather wise too.

  4. Witcher is love, Witcher is life, though I've neglected it with my hectic Uni schedule. You talking about it though makes me want to go and turn it back on right now.

Also, loving all the outfits as always.
