The folk at Aromabotanical let me choose a few of their products to trial and review. Aromabotanical is an Australian company that makes home and body fragrances, created locally in Sydney with natural ingredients, and never tested on animals, which matters to me more and more when I'm deciding where to spend money. Here's how the three I picked actually held up.

Pear & Ginger Diffuser
The diffuser was my first pick, because I wanted something that made the house smell good without me having to light a candle to get there. I went with Pear and Ginger for something fruity but a bit spicy for the holiday season, and the ginger and musk deliver exactly that. Once it's set up the scent stays constant and fills the whole room without being overpowering. Mine lived in the downstairs living area, and I could smell it the second I walked in the door. It's meant to last up to four months.
Pink Freesia & Rose Candle
The candle is softer and more vanilla than the fruitiness of the diffuser. Lean in and it's like inhaling an actual bouquet, fresh, and nothing like soap or your grandmother's potpourri. The white candle in its modern jar with the black lid also happened to match the decor on top of my IKEA bookshelf perfectly, so it became my calming burn-while-I-write candle in the study.
Coconut & Lime Fragrant Disc
The disc is the one I never would have chosen for myself, and the one that won me over fastest. Coconut and Lime is tropical without being too fruity or too much. It's designed to hang in a wardrobe or drawers, which is where clothes tend to get that musty smell. Mine started in the closet and will probably migrate to a drawer. You can also pop them in a linen cupboard or the car, basically anywhere you'd like to smell nice instead of not-nice.
The whole set came to around $80 RRP, and honestly the diffuser alone earned its keep. If you've landed here from a search, that's the one I'd point you at first.
