My boyfriend doesn't read my blog, but it's not a big deal. A whole bunch of other people do. So that's pretty rad. That card above is what he picked out and gave me for our 4 year anniversary. I loved it! It is adorable and perfect for me. It combines my love of Josh annd my love of kittens!
We've been together four whole years now and that is kind of crazy. That's a long time, like 17% of my entire life. I've already written a post last year about how we met, which was pretty cute. If I say so myself.
For our 4 year anniversary, I had to work 9-5pm which was pretty lame. But I was keen on going out to dinner with Josh afterwards. But when I got home from work I was immediately cornered and told to go upstairs and get changed.
When I was finally allowed to return back downstairs, I got to see that Josh had spent all day making me dinner from scratch. Butternut Pumpkin Pasta. He made the pasta by hand, two batches of it, in case that the first one failed. He worked all day to make me delicious homemade pasta, and it was the sweetest thing that anyone has ever done for me.
I've never had someone do anything like that for me before. I mean that is soo much effort! It was the best gift I could have been given and I truly appreciated it so much.
After dinner we walked to Coco Monde got some takeaway ice-cream from there, and ate yummy gelato while we watched the fountain and Christmas lights in Civic Park.
My boyfriend doesn't read my blog but that's okay. Pretty sure he loves me anyway. Here's to 4 years together and many more years to come.
