What I Got for Christmas

3 January 2016

I love having a little look into the lives of other people and seeing what they got for Christmas, and I'm guessing you do too! Christmas is reasonably hectic for me in my life as I have three Christmases in the one day.

Not everything I got is pictured here obviously. I picked out some specifically cool stuff, and overall main gifts. Thank you so much to anyone who is reading this that bought me something for Christmas! I'm looking at you Santa! But seriously, everyone is way too generous. I had a lovely Christmas.

Now let's have a look at what I got.

This is beautiful! Monochromatic and simple. It goes with everything in my closet. My new favourite accessory.

I needed a simple silver bracelet to add to my collection and this is perfect. The brand Midsummer Star has some really pretty pieces.

This was picked out for me because of my blog name, and I love it! It is a weird shape, and slants on an angle, so I'm not even going to try and drink from it. But it's holding all my sharpies on my desk.

If you're a HP fan and you haven't at least had a flick through of this book, you should! It's marvellously done. I 100% will be reading this beauty to my future children one day. At which point I hope I'll have the entire series.

I've already started using this, and I'm so keen for it to help me organise my blogging! This fabric covered journal has plenty of space to write ideas and dates for upcoming posts.
Anyone who has been in my car would likely remember my other Groot bobblehead that sat on the dash. He met an untimely end one day unfortunately. Now I have a new and improved Groot, I just need to get some quality double sided tape to firmly affix him to the dash.

Cactus & Succulent in Pieces of Branch
My sister picked up these beauties for me at a local markets and they are really nifty! Both of the plants are just growing in holes drilled in different pieces of wood. Very natural and unique. Wonderful additions to my ever growing plant family.

Indoor Green Living with Plants Book
I spotted this wondrous book multiple times and was so delighted to receive it as a gift! From my lovely bosses at work no less! I'm yet to give it a proper read through, but just flicking through the pages I can tell that I'm going to love it.

Down the Rabbit Hole Book
I am actually so keen to read this! Growing up my sister, mum and I used to watch Girls of the Playboy Mansion during a time where we had pay tv. I always loved it, and I actually met Holly one time at Disneyland! I'm keen to read all the sneaky goss about her life in the mansion!

Store Gift Cards!
Not to sound spoilt, but they're all to good places! Everyone knows the feeling of getting a giftcard to a store you don't even go to... I'll be doing some serious shopping with these babies. There's also a cinema gift card that was technically given to Josh but we will be using it to go to Gold Class at the new Kotara cinema. We're waiting for something good though, maybe we'll see the new Quentin Tarantino film that comes out in two weeks!

Tell me what was your favourite gift that you received for Christmas this year? I'm still waiting for Santa to bring me a kitten.

You got such amazing gifts! I'd personally love to read Holly Madison's book. Not because I like Playboy but because it's so interesting to read about people's experiences in such strange situations!

  11. I'm always wishing for Santa to bring me a kitten. Or my mom. Or my boyfriend. As long as I get that kitten it doesn't matter who gives it to me LOL

You got such nice gifts! I immediately thought of your blog name when I saw the cup, hahaha. I wish I could keep succulents alive - I had around 10 before but they all died because I either under or over-watered them. Maybe I'll stick to the fake ones for now, haha...

  12. OMG the Groot bobble head SOCUTE! I actually bought that one for my little cousin for Christmas, although I think his parents enjoyed it more than he did. To which I was like "man, if you don't want it I'll totally take it off your hands." I've already started using the diary also, you summed it up perfectly, it's great, just great.
