Here are some steps towards your new minimalist lifestyle:

1) Remove Clothes You Don't Wear from your Wardrobe:

Take a good look at all of the clothes you own and try everything on. Keep only the ones that fit well and that you feel comfortable in. There is no point in keeping things that sit in your wardrobe, collecting dust and taking up space!
 

2) Say Goodbye to Old or Unused Items:

If you have a lot of unused items lying around, it's time to say goodbye. This could be anything from old electronics, to furniture, to knick-knacks. Get in touch with a rubbish removal company. It's time to be honest with yourself and get rid of anything you truly don't need.

3) Donate What You Don't Need:

The first two steps are meant to be about getting rid of unwanted items, but this step is where you can put all of your unwanted items to good use! From donating clothes to helping the environment by recycling electronics, there are plenty of ways to give back.

4) Downsize:

If you live in a big house or have a lot of belongings, it might be time to downsize! Moving into a smaller space can be liberating and simplify your life immensely. Not only will this save you money on bills and rent, but it will also help you keep track of your possessions a lot better.

5) Cull Your Collections:

Just as you culled your clothes and unused items, it might be time to do the same with your book collection, movie collection and more! Keep only the things that you love and will actually use again and again. This could mean donating or selling the rest.

6) Simplify Your Meals:

Eating out or ordering takeout all the time can get expensive. Make a commitment to cook at home for your meals more often. Not only can this save you money, but it can also cut down on the time you spend cooking if you meal prep in advance!
